Congrats Crown Media Goil! I trust you made is safely back to Tinsel Town. We are heading in to Winnipeg tomorrow, returning on Sunday. Having lunch with Noreen on Saturday. Spumoni, Chloë, Rebekah and Nana drove to War Eagle last night as they want to spend the day on the dock, sunning and swimming. Back here for dinner at 6:00 pm. They are to prepare dinner at War Eagle, meat balls, and bring them to Falcon. Clarisse is charges with putting spaghetti on to boil. I'm hoping to ride about halfway to Whitemouth and back in order to clock 140 km but will see how fierce the head winds are before deciding on distance. Love to one and all, Dad!

Hi Bill! Congratulations on your sixth year anniversary! Trust you are well.  All the best from Cora Lee as well. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Thanks for the interesting photos Patrick. B.Patrick, Here's a photo of dangerous Denise; the name of the boat is "Overkill". Get it?! The petroleum industry must love this guy. cheers, Bill.

Hi Goils! Wow indeed! Will be curious to hear "backstory" from Noreen on Saturday! Trust life at War Eagle goes well! Lots of fussage about Senior's Shuffle this morning as it seems there is not going to be anybody there except your parents/grandparents! Think Clarisse is trying to dragoon Patti, Rachel and Gavin into playing! I'm off to ride to Rennie and part way to Whitemouth in an hour or so. Enjoy the lake. See you at dinner time. Cheers, Patrizzio

Hi Texas Tornadoes! Are you summering in Aspen with the Rich and Famous? Been busy here. Fondestos from all The Gang! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Dear Pat: Thank you for sharing the pics/dialogue re: your mother's burial. Sounds as if everything went off picture-perfect!

I didn’t realize that your dad died so young and that your mother lived so long. My father was born in 1910 and died at 63 in 1973. My mother was born in 1922 and died at 80 in 2002.

Your in-laws’ anniversary celebration sounds like it went well too! Someone must be planning these events...

Have a great trip back. I’m sure that despite having a good time out East you won’t be missing being attacked by black flies, mosquitoes, deer flies, horse flies, wasps, hornets, no-see-ums, house flies, yellow jackets, flying ants and even flying squirrels. Kind regards, F.B.

Thanks Patricio! Great to hear. I’ll pencil you in, but please formally register and select Studio 1398 when the call for 2014 registration goes out in 2 weeks, ok? Kathryn

Wow - love the pictures! Great seeing you and Corinne on a gorgeous sunny day, the boys (big and handsome), and Annie's box (beautifully done by Dusty! Can I pre-order one for myself?) and the headstone. We didn't have a chance to bid goodbye to Annie, and it is moving see her "resting" place alongside your dad! Grand parties and impressive art auction!

Yes, we're nearing the end of our stay here in Vail. We came here July 4th for about a week, back home 10 days or so, and now back here for 3 weeks. Very tempting to plan out my retirement here and now! Adrian joined us for July 4th (plus his girlfriend for 2 years, AND her parents!) and then a long weekend, as he is working at an airplane customization outfit in San Antonio. He graduates in a year, so this job is important!

Miranda came July 4th as well, and stayed for a month, including two weeks by herself. That was some much needed quiet time as she just broke up with her boyfriend Eduardo of two years, and is getting ready to embark on her graduate study at UT Austin. She got back to Texas, and found her 2-month old new Prius flooded in a Houston downpour!

So we are mostly busy with keeping track of kids, while still trying to hang on to working! This is a busy time for me at work, so I'm extremely appreciative of my boss working with me remotely!

We're having a great time here -- biking, hiking, Randy golfing, going to dance performances, etc. Dogs (Cassie and Max) are extremely happy here -- with Max often time disappearing and returning in mud, and Cassie (good ode 13-year-old gal) skipping, running outside! Please keep in touch. Come see us in Vail sometimes! Love, Ruth

was it the petit verdot or the bruichladdich that caused the headache and the absence of the helmet?matt

Hola Patricio! Thanks for the update on all you and Cora Lee's comings and goings. Great pics too. We are still enjoying the most marvellous summer here in The Naramata. I've been using the excuse of the wonderful (and maybe-won't-last-forever) weather to take a break from just about everything! It has been just peachy here. Petey is happy as a clam having completed just about all work work and submitted invoices, etc. and now free to assume his Farmer Pete role wholeheartedly.

He just came in a little while ago for a shower and a well-deserved fine and tonic. Yum!! He's just out on the patio now barbecuing some lovely lamb chops to be consumed with a nice little greek salad (made mostly from our own garden ingredients and some fabulous spanish olive oil) and pitas and tzatziki. we've got some left-over Nichol 2011 pinot noir to go with. Not sure if this is the ideal match, but it will be yummy.

Hope you continue to enjoy your vacation … as we are doing. We're always on vacation, no? Looking forward to seeing you next time and getting more and more into plans for India. Cheers for now, and love to Corinne. Lynnie
