Gregor Robertson Civic Election Blues: Saturday, November 15th!

Soon silence will have passed into legend. Man has turned his back on silence. Day after day he invents machines and devices that increase noise and distract humanity from the essence of life, contemplation, meditation. Tooting, howling, screeching, booming, crashing, whistling, grinding, and trilling bolster his ego. -Jean Arp, artist and poet (1887-1948)

Michele Darrow-Sutherland Fabulous lunch at mama's fish house with this amazing view. Leaving Maui today but off to Kauai!!

A quick note to see if you can join us for dinner at our place on Sunday Nov 23rd with Kjell & Jane and assorted others. They are planning a trip over later next week for a few days. Sounds like they are doing well with the only slight complication being that the North Shore condo hasn't sold yet. Trust you are both well. Cheers.....Paul

Hi Paolo, et al! Thanks for the lovely dinner invitation. We are more than delighted to accept. Please let us know what we can contribute, (other than hootch!), and what time we should plan to arrive.

Enjoyed a series of wonderful evenings this past week.
Let us know more about next Sunday and we'll plan accordingly. Thanks again. Fondestos from Mme Coriandre to you and Joan. Cheers, Scullion Patrizzio, In the Kitchen, Where I Belong!

Patrick James Dunn Had a lovely dinner, at The Islay Inn, with JT last night. Cora Lee drove her to Bellingham at 6:00 am this morning, There by 7:00 am. Unfortunately, for the Power Shoppers, Designer Outlet malls weren't open! We'll head over to FCCC to vote shortly. Seems like it will be a very, very tight race between Gregor Green and Captain Kirk! Nevertheless, have 'dem ole' Coconut Picker Blue's looking at also those fiery sunsets back here in Frosty False Creek! My new, leather "water bottle" holders, for next trip to Sonoma! Found at Circle Craft Christmas Market, yesterday at CC, with CL, Rosita and Dusty. Cheers, Long John Patrizzio!

It was a lovely and unexpected pleasure to spend time with you on Saturday evening.  Given that it WAS Saturday evening, I thought you would probably be out.   I was also none to sure of the route to the Island Inn from the market side, but got it right on the first try.

Thanks for enduring my tales of work travails.  Of course, it was delightful then to have the opportunity to talk and share travel stories and suggestions about India -- one of my very favourite topics, as you can tell.

Well, that's a start, and I hope it is helpful.   Would love to get together with you and your travel companions to talk India and maybe look at photos from last trip, too.  Perhaps in December.  I am taking most of my holidays this year, December 16-January 6.

I will be in touch before that, though - for one thing, I need to send images for Dustys commission!  It was really nice to see your folks on Saturday evening, by the way.  They strike me as poster-people for active living and a positive outlook in the golden years. Thanks for the lovely dinner, too.
